Join us Halloween weekend to experience live glassblowings demonstrations, treats and scavenger hunts, as we  create winning Monster Designs Contest concepts into sculptured glass, from children's submissions. Vote for your favorite runner ups who will receive alternative prizes.

Event Details: 
October 15th - Design submissions are due! Drop off at the gallery, mail or email.Use your creativity to design a monster that we can make come to life in glass! 

The winning submission in each division will inspire a one of a kind glass sculpture, created by the WGW’s artisans during a live glassblowing demonstration on Halloween day. The monster will be created at 10:30am with the ghost created afterwards. 🔥

Those creations will then be on display in the gallery through the following week before they’re awarded to the winning students on November 7th.

Contest Details 📋

Ages 8-10: Print the attached Ghost Face design sheet and use your imagination to design a ghost within the provided shape. Be sure to incorporate lots of design details and color.

Ages 11-14: Print the attached Monster design sheet and use your imagination to design a monster within the provided shape. Be sure to incorporate lots of design details and color. 

All entries will be displayed in the gallery through the first week in November. One monster and one ghost design will be chosen by public appeal and by our team of artisans considering the 3D aspects and possibilities of the design to be made into glass.

The winner's glass creations will be displayed in the gallery through mid November then given to their recipients free of charge.
